We believe readers deserve to know exactly who is behind the content they read, how that content is produced, and how the website that publishes it makes money. This page explains all three.

1. Who Operates Vsomi

Vsomi is an independent publication about vinyl records and turntables, founded and written by Miles Aaron Sutton. The website is legally operated under CNPJ 57.215.224/0001-38. You can reach us any time at contact@vsomi.com.

2. Our Mission

Our mission is simple: help people set up, care for, and enjoy vinyl records with practical, honest, experience-based guidance — without hype, without exaggerated claims, and without pretending to be something we’re not.

3. How Our Content Is Created

Every article on Vsomi follows the same process:

  • First-hand experience. Guides are based on real, hands-on work with turntables and records — actual setups, actual cleaning sessions, actual mistakes and fixes.
  • Research. Claims are checked against manufacturer documentation and reputable industry sources before publication.
  • Attribution. Every article displays its author, publication date, and — when revised — a “last updated” date.
  • Updates. We periodically review published guides and update them when equipment, best practices, or prices change.

4. Use of AI Tools

We may use software tools, including AI-based tools, to assist with tasks such as grammar checking, formatting, or research organization. However, the substance of our content — the experience, testing, opinions, and recommendations — comes from the author. We do not publish unedited, automatically generated articles.

5. Corrections Policy

We take accuracy seriously, but nobody is perfect. If we discover — or a reader reports — a factual error, we correct the article promptly and update its “last updated” date. For significant corrections, we add a note explaining what changed. To report an error, email contact@vsomi.com with the article link and the issue you found.

6. Limits of Our Advice

Vsomi’s content is for educational and informational purposes only. We are enthusiasts with years of practical experience — not certified audio engineers or acoustics professionals. Where a task involves risk to valuable equipment or requires professional skills, we say so clearly and recommend consulting a qualified specialist.

7. How Vsomi Makes Money

Vsomi is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and advertisers have no influence over what we write, which products we mention, or the conclusions we reach. Our editorial decisions are made independently and always in the interest of the reader. For full details, see our Advertising Policy.

8. Your Privacy

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
